Today is day 1 in Boston. We were crazy busy, running around town getting basic stuff. Here are some pictures of the apartment, and pics of the day (well, the end of). Sara waiting for the airport shuttle, Sara waiting for the green line train, our first dinner.

This morning I was sick, I don't do well with less than 3 hours of sleep. Especially on a plane! I was not in a good mood and I felt like I was going to throw up. But luckily after eating a bit I felt better. We went from the airport to Enterprise, to pick up the
keys and then see the apartment. It was a mess. Super dirty, not good. its old, but we knew that. But it's also falling apart. Kind of a wreck. We can make it look good, but it needs work. Also, the hallway entrance area smells awful. Like cat. Smelly cat (what are they feeding you? Lol).

We then went to Marshall's but it was closed. So we went to Target and spent some cash on necessary items. Like toilet paper. And shampoo. Then we went to Marshall's and got some sheets and random stuff. I drive us anxiously to Sleepys where we got the same cheap mattress and box spring. That was a quick $500. They couldn't deliver today (so we're sleeping on the floor tonight) but we got all squared away for delivery tomorrow. We went back to the apt to meet the internet guy - and I took a 20 minute semi nap. Next stop was lunch, we went to A shawarfel place- they make falafel shawarma dishes. It was pretty good! We scoured a couple of furniture/secondhand stores for sofas, etc. but were mostly unsuccessful. We found a couch we liked, but the guy said to make sure it would fit in the doorway (and it wouldn't) so we were kinda sad. But we'll find something - hopefully!!

We went to star market next and got groceries. $100! Thanks for the giftcard Aunt Debbie. Dropped them off at the apartment and went back to Target. The second trip we got some dishes, silverware, and a bar table with stools (that we can't put together yet). Oh, and a lamp. Afterwards we went to Marshall's again so Sara could have a blanket to sleep with tonight.

The it was time to return the car, so we started driving down the freeway ($1.25 toll). All of a sudden it started raining and storming with thunder and lightning. The whole drive back to the airport was messy. We returned the car, and started the public transportation trek home. Almost 2 hours later, we got here!!

Tomorrow is cleanup day- make the place nice. Oh, and we get our beds!!!

Can't wait :)
